Two people. A lot of songs. And a shared love of making music.
Something Like That is Bill and Michelle — a music duo built around songs we love, vocal harmonies and, most importantly, enjoying ourselves while we play.
What you hear on stage doesn't just begin when we arrive at a venue. We spend a lot of time behind the scenes arranging songs, rehearsing and producing our own backing tracks so we can shape each song to suit the way we perform it.
That gives us the freedom to keep the sound full while still making the performance feel live, relaxed and spontaneous.
We've built Something Like That around a pretty simple idea: if we're having a good time, there's a fair chance the audience will too.
OUR SOUND

We produce our own backing tracks, building and arranging them to suit the way we perform each song.
Rather than being locked into a standard backing track, we can shape the arrangement, instrumentation and mix around our vocals and live guitar.
It takes more work behind the scenes, but it gives us something we value — a sound that belongs to Something Like That.
